About Us

Welcome to Exeter and District Model Engineering Society

We are a group of like mined model engineering enthusiasts. We have started a society for the Exeter and District area to promote both model and experimental engineering. 

The following points are our primary aims:
  • Forum for like minded engineers to meet.
  • Exchange of tools/expertise.
  • Establishment of permanent meeting facilities with a shared work shop and social facilities.
  • The running of 'day running' events.
  • A youth program to bring young engineers in and train them and perhaps certify them in particular skills such as boiler testing etc.
